Default Which Pocket Do You Carry Your Keys In?

I was on lunch today and walking into a restaurant, when I wondered to myself.... "why do i always put my keys into my left pocket, when I'm right handed.... and I always use my right hand to put the key into my car door?". There's always an unnecessary hand switch going on from when I grab the keys out of my pocket to the time that I put the key into my trucks door lock or my house latch(I don't have power locks on my truck!).

So this begged me to wonder and ask....

What pocket do those of you who carry your keys in your pocket keep your keys in?

I guess women who use pocketbooks are excluded from this poll since they probably don't keep keys in their pockets... don't worry though, we still love you ladies.

I'm right handed and the car keys ALWAYS go in the right side pocket. If I'm wearing a jacket, then they go in the right pocket of the jacket. If it's strictly pants/shorts, then they go in the right hand side.

I keep my car keys seperate from my house+office keys, so sometimes the house keys goes in the left or the right depending if I'm wearing a jacket or not.

Loose change, chapstick (or blistix), and a pen always go in my left front pocket. The cell phone I'll stick in a pocket or in my backpack that I usually have with me if I'm not wearing a jacket. I used to have that clip thingy, but I only wear it if I have to go to a site, otherwise, I think it looks too nerdy. Wallet goes in the rear right pocket over the butt cheek or in the inside left pocket of the jacket - but I never sit on it, not even while I drive. Bad for the spine.

Personal cellphone in top left pocket.
Carmex, eye drops and car keys in top right pocket.
Keychain with house keys and gum bottom left pocket.
Keychain with work keys and loose change bottom right pocket.
Wallet in back right pocket.
Work cellphone either on my belt or in a random pocket.

[edit]
Forgot the knives... If I'm only carrying one it goes on the top right pocket, more than one and either around my neck or on the top left pocket.

atcually, when my girlfriend's with me, i make her carry all of that crap...except for my keys. she always wants to drive my car. next time you're out, just drop all of that stuff in her purse, and ask for it when you need it. my guess is your girls will never hesitate to give you your wallet when it's time to pay for some shit.

Key Fob... it's your clicker... you know, the little electronic device with buttons that you use to lock and unlock your car.

I realize that you are kidding when you say this due to all legal implications, felony, etc etc. But hypothetically speaking, say that you did: make sure it's an inside the belt holster - preferrably leather. Those cloth/fabric holsters might allow the gun to slide out if you bent over the wrong way. Also, it's uncomfortable as all hell to sit on when you have one of these things. Even if it is one the mini-Glocks (e.g. Glock 26, 27, 36).
