How Fashionable, and you criticized us of being metro when we were discussing suits
Lol, well uhm... :P
Do you feel naked when you don't have a knife on you?
Like... if you go clubbing and stuff of that nature or on an airplane. Many of the clubs I go to hit you with the metal-detector wand on the way in to make sure you don't have any weapons of any sort.
You feel the same way when you don't have your cell phone or your wallet or your watch on you. It's one of those accessories that you always have and yes you feel naked if you don't have it.
I've gotten into the habit to leave my knife in the car when I go to the airport.
A few times I forget and I stash it in the bushes. At the X games in L.A. a few years back, this worked. Unfortunately it didn't work at the Queen Mary Halloween fright fest a few years back. At the last minute, I realized they were checking so I stashed it in a bush. When I came back out, I looked everywhere and even had perfect strangers helping me look for it. Someone took it (retail $200). Wanna know the crazy thing? I found two other knvies!!! Both of them were Taiwan pieces of shit, but it's funny how other people had the same idea.
In Vegas, if you ever go to a boxing match at the MGM, you can check in your knife or gun when entering the match. That happened to me once too.
House & work keys in left pocket and car keys in the right. Keeps me from having too many keys on the same ring and helps me keep my balance better as well.
I also keep a space door key in my wallet!

I'm thinking more along the lines of Samurai swords.
I've seen some nice Katana blades, but I wouldn't know how to use it. There are classes in Little Tokyo here in downtown L.A. that can teah you the art though.

I can't claim to know how to use a sword either, but I still want a few.

My brother's best friend has a whole collection of them. Nice toys. Cool stuff, but I keep on thinking of that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark when that one dude with the swords does his thing and Indy just shoots him with an "aw hell" attitude. But to each his own.

Kendo is pretty damn expensive. If you can get a sensei that is decent and doesn't charge an arm and a leg........
Again are you guys serious? Damn you some crazy fucks.
I prefer ecentric.

The only weapons I own are steak knives and scissors, and some crappy small knife that I use for when I go fishing.
That.... and I have my baseball/softball bats. The best though.... is the Fisher-Price Metal Pool-Table leg. I've practicly cut trees down with that bad-boy.
My friends and I have an ongoing joke about the impenetrable mystery metal that that Fisher-Price leg is made of.
