I wouldn't feel very comfortable carrying a gun around on me all the time.

It seems like it would just add to the danger both for me and for other people in just about all situations.

Only time I don't is when I'm at the gym. I picked up a couple nicer knives pretty much just to carry when I'm dressed up.

I realize that you are kidding when you say this due to all legal implications, felony, etc etc. But hypothetically speaking, say that you did: make sure it's an inside the belt holster - preferrably leather. Those cloth/fabric holsters might allow the gun to slide out if you bent over the wrong way. Also, it's uncomfortable as all hell to sit on when you have one of these things. Even if it is one the mini-Glocks (e.g. Glock 26, 27, 36).
Thanks gamma!

Do you feel naked when you don't have a knife on you?

Like... if you go clubbing and stuff of that nature or on an airplane. Many of the clubs I go to hit you with the metal-detector wand on the way in to make sure you don't have any weapons of any sort.

Yeah.

Only had that happen once, no metal detector but pat downs of people going into the concert. I admitted to having a knife and was given a chance to put it in my car (I was parked less than 50' away) and ended up never being patted down.

But if I ever pick up one of these, even a metal detector won't be an issue.

Yep, missing from there are the knife I got for christmas and the Swiss Army knockoff I found in my desk a couple weeks ago. I've currently got 13 and I need to check up on #14 as it was supposed to be ready around November-ish.

No more knives for me (for now), gonna start on guns and swords.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Samurai swords.
