Digital frames - recommendations?

I plan to purchase a digital frame for my folks 50th wedding anniversary and wanted to know if you have any experiences, recommendations, or horror stories about them.

I saw a few at CES and have done some online research. I know I do not want an online (read monthly subscription) version. I would like something with decent screen size but not too pricy. Right now I'm leaning toward the Pacific Digital 8x10.

I was looking for a 5x7 digital picture frame and i saw this one. I think i'm going to get this soon. It plays pictures and Mpeg.
