What was the difference between tonight's game and the Michigan game?
I thought they played in the Rose Bowl last year as well.

the national title game is the ultimate prize.
the national title rotates every year from 4 major spectacles: the sugar bowl, the rose bowl, the orange bowl, and the fiesta bowl.
last year's title game was the orange bowl... i think

yeah it did. it determines whether they're 3rd or 4th seed for this year. plus, the winner gets scholarship money for their school.
think of it as the bronze medal game, in an olympic setting

It would surprise me greatly if Vinny would stay another year. I would love it, but doubt it. As a running QB, he stands to get hurt one more year in the NCAA, and then no pro contract. I doubt that he would play QB in the pros. Anyway you slice it... What a great win for Tx. Hookem!
