You know what, the one thing I'm going to give Hexx and Lardy is that they are great sports. Man, they're taking the crap like grown men, impressive. There's a lot of people out there that would have made excuses and been sour about the loss. Look forward to it again next year. Question though, why do you think White is going to leave this year? Don't you think his stock would be greatly increased if he played with out Reggie next year? Or do you think this game was enough to get him high in the first round?

Vince Young and Lendale White's stocks just went through the roof! Lendale was probably gonna go anyways and now I'm sure that he will go because he just pushed himself into the first half of the first round. If VY goes he is also easily a top ten pick but I am still hearing a lot of scouts are saying that VY would not play QB but be moved to a different position.
I think Lendale will be well served to play another year. I don't know if he'd make it into the 1st round if he goes this year, late if he does. If he stays and remains healthy, he'll put up 1,500 plus yards next year and lock a 1st round spot. But, he'll probably go for the money.
GZ - you're too conservative. Hell, go for it, they've been converting 4th and 1 (or 2) situations all year. No need to think the o-line would fall short now. Oh, wait, they already failed to convert the earlier 4th and 1, didn't they. Stupid Trojans!

I absolutely agree with you doggy but all indications are that he is out of here. I really hope he comes back because our O line will still be awesome and he will easily put up 1500+ yards as the primary back. We'll see though.

He missed it in the first half and yet he tried it again with the game on the line...big mistake...Texas might have still scored, but it would have taken alot more effort...

They'll be fine jmcclain. SC won't go undefeated next year but Pete Carroll has brought in sooooo much talent that it is only a matter of time before SC is competing for another shot at a NC!

i'm with you on the vy assessment...as for white, i think he'll stay his senior year...if he does, like vy, will be an early favorite for the heisman.

I don't think Lendale is staying super. The consensus around here and people near him say he is leaning towards leaving.
