I've hit two squirrels with my bicycle, and I've talked to other riders who call them "suicide squirrels".

The first time the squirrel hit my pedal, shook it off and ran to the side of the road. The second hit could have been much more gruesome as he tried to go through my front wheel but hit a spoke. I've heard stories of squirrels being cut in half by fast riders with bladed spokes, I got lucky.

Fun stuff.

Stupid animals. Did you ever listen to the obnoxious noises they make?

How about watching them... and trying to make sense of their maniacly senseless behavior pattterns?

I've hit like 10 squirrels in my life with my old 240SX. That's the only car I've ever hit any with. Stupid things used to always run out under my car.

I haven't had that problem with any other cars. Perhaps the car smelled like a big acorn or something.

I hit one once, I cried for a hour...

but then again, I am the sort of person who puts bugs outside rather than smushing them. Just seems like I have done more than enough to rack up the bad karma, no need to edge it up further unnecessarily...

seems like if I had a new g, I would be terrified of nasty furry little guts all over it? ugg....

I hit my first squirrel on Christmas Day. I felt bad, but I tried everything I could to miss it. It must have jumped when it was under my SUV, otherwise it would have made it. They really pissed me off last year when they tore up my cushions from my lawn furniture. Little bastards!!!

Never ran one over due to their lack of existence in Hawaii. I have run over a mongoose which I'd put down as an equivalent as a squirrel.

I dunno I guess the average squirrel is OK, but Chip & Dale are gay.

my experiences with them

1. Had a baby squirrel as a pet for like a week when i was younger
2. Have gotten hit on the head by an acorn dropped by a squirrel at least once a year for the past 7 years
3. Have run over one ... couldn't be avoided ... going about 75 in an SUV on a banked corner, wasn't about to swerve and risk flipping over

don't mind em but wish they'd stay off the roof at my parent's house ... damn things are loud running along the gutters early ass in the morning

Not only were Chip and Dale gay the two little guys from Looney Tunes were also. I agree they may have been ha-ha funny, but they were still batting for the other team.

They're nutty and scary. Escpecially in Russia where they eat dogs. How scary. I mean getting killed by a bunch of birds is a classic film but getting killed by a bunch of squrrels is just sad.

I agree squirrels are just overgrown rodents. They got into an old cabin I had once and tore the place to pieces, much worse than mice. Now I sic the dogs on them whenever they show up in the yard.

I like the one that buries walnuts in our lawn. I know I shouldn't but he's so cute ^__^

they are adorable, but that willie wonka movie did freak me out a bit about them...

any kind of organized animal is freaky, especially small ones.
