Seriously though, it was a very hard fought game that came down to the end. If there was more time on the clock, SC would have gone down and scored again too but it just wasn't meant to be.

No, the boys really did play a good game. They definitely made fewer mistakes than the Longhorns. Unfortunately the coaching staff really put them in a bad situation late in the game. It was Pete handing Texas the gun and the bullets that really hurt SC.

I disagree with you slightly but you just have to give VY and Texas credit for making it happen when it counted. If they had picked up that 1st down and won the game, everyone would be calling PC a genius.

Nah Pete's still a dumbass for calling the play if it works. It's like driving drunk, yes he got home safely with the stripper, but sooner or later he's going to get a heffer home or he's going to get Pam Anderson in the car and kill her with his driving.
