Aside from all the coughing, boning, bad music, high heeled stomping upstairs...
Last year I asked to borrow a snow shovel from my neighbor - old guy came to the door in a bloody pair of boxer shorts. Now I think his car is in the lot but there are newspapers on his door and welcome mat. At what point should I call the cops? I will probably be moved to tears if poor dude is dead in there for days with no one checking on him.
Do something. My wife's grandmother died right after Thanksgiving. She fell and ended up laying there for a day or two before anybody found her. She developed pnuemonia in both lungs and died shortly after. If somebody had found her sooner she probably would have made a full recovery.

I need a house too. I just need to decide where I want to live, by trying to pay more attention to the things that a perspective home owner should care about in each town.. rather than just a passer-through.

You can always call the cops to do a "welfare check" and see if he's okay, they can probably have the manager let them in without breaking the door down. Boxer shorts, huh?

I want a nice condo with a garage.
& I say definitely check on the old guy. He may just be on vacation but you never know.
The garage is the number one thing IMO, when I looked at my place, what really got me was the oversized 2 car garage it has, LOL, right now I have so much in it though, really only has room for my car.

Call the police immediately. It's unfortunate, but the stack of newspaper/mail is usually how people find out their elderly neighbors have passed away.

Don't you hate that? I can only get 1 car in my oversized garage as well. Next house would be nice if it had a 10 car garage. Probably only get 3 cars in it though

Yeah dude... I agree. Hopefully I can find myself a nice big garage which also happens to have a nice house attached to it.
My sister just got married, and her husband has a heated 3 car garage with 2 2006 Honda Quads in it(450R for him, and 250EX for her), a 1987 Honda 200 3-Wheeler that is fully restored and mint, a gigantic John Deer Lawn-Tractor, a huuuge rolling tool chest with a full Snap-On Tool set in it, a high powered compressor with all kinds of air-guns and other cool attachments, a whole bunch of Husquevarna chainsaws and other fun gas powered yard tools, and a full array of cordless tools(including a freakin nasty cordless Industrial Lincoln Grease Gun). There's also a collection of like 15 real expensive and fast radio controlled cars in there. He also owns an $80K John Deere Farm tractor(not in the garage obviously). I'm soo jealous.
Her husband is a cool guy.. we get along great.

Him and I chill a lot and just watch football and talk about cars and other guy stuff.
I'm probably gonna try to pick up a used 400EX or maybe a 450R(if I feel daring) once this winter is over, so I can do some riding with them and his huge circle of dirtbike-loving friends(Most of who I went to school with and am decently friendly with already). I haven't had a dirtbike since I was a kid, and I only get my jollies off by riding my friends motorcycles and dirtbikes at this point.
I live in an awesome area for dirtbike riding too... since my street ends like 5 houses after mine, and where the street ends is the entrypoint to a huge network of trails that spans upwards of 30 miles and also takes you to some powerlines that you can drive under and probably go for a good 40 or 50 miles.

The old dude is alive...took two days to get the apartment people to enter and he is out of town thank goodness.
I just cracked up two kids when they came to enter his apartment - they came over to my place and said hey you should write a book - are you on myspace!?
