I've seen Barry in person when he was down here for the Pro Bowl. I was at Restraunt Row and he walked right past me. I couldn't figure out why he looked so familiar, until it dawned on me. In that entire crowd I was the only person who recognized him.
His Clark Kent disguise was working that night.

I feel bad for the guy.
He'll always be in MJ's shadow.
But when he signed with the Jailblazers, he was just reaching too far.
Very delusion to think that he alone could have brought a championship to Portland. But I hear that the shrubs are really good up in that part of town.
...
Oh shit! There goes your theory about pot smoking bballer champions!
AH HA!

as for the past, at least as far as basketball is concerned, people always leave out bill russell. that guy was sick, and he's got more rings than he has fingers. i don't think there's ever been a better rebounder in the game.

It's not even close fellas. Wayne Gretzky is, was and always will be the most dominant athlete in his sport. He holds practically every record in the NHL and no one will even come close to catching him. He dominated the NHL in a way that we will never see again. It's kinda the way USC dominated Hawaii, huh GZ.
For anyone who doesn't know about just how dominant Gretzky really was... go do a google search on NHL Records.
He owns just about every single season and career scoring record in the league. His career points total is like 40% higher than the second place guy on the list. It's completely absurd and utterly mind boggling to see one player be soo dominant. I highly doubt that any of his career records will ever be even threatened by anyone.
Here's a few of Gretzky's records and his next closest competetors in each category(Keep in mind that just because it says another player is Second... what it actually means is that this player is the next NON-Gretzky players highest single season stat... because in many instances, Gretzky owns the top 2 or 3 single season marks for each category):

I think Rodman was a better boarder. Russell is a far better complete player. Again Russell played with some good guys too.
