thank you ggirl, NC was too damn cold for my taste but it was a different experience. i've never seen so many white/nice people in one area. i havent seen none of the pics that we took, i'll look at them and see which ones look interesting.

I've experienced culture shock like that on more than one occasion. Where you feel like the only dark one in the group, oh yeah, felt that more than a few times.
Luckily you met some nice people regardless.
yeah most were nice, but i did encounter some people that just made me upset
it is a HUGE shock, especially coming from a city like miami where 80% + are hispanics.
at least 3 times in my life and before 18 yrs old, have I been moved from all white communities to all brown communities to all white communities again. It is a weird experience indeed.

yeah man, I havent seen snow since i was like 5. i wanted to make a snowman or some crap like that i guess i'm going to have to wait till im 30 it was freezing though the night we got there, it was 28 degrees
