Anyone get anything cool for xmas? Or other holidays?
I am heading out to pick up my friend and have a small gift exchange with my family since my father is back for a few days from his work in New Orleans...I already got a tailored pair of khaki winter whites from The Limited but I had to pick them up myself after dad bought them and they were sent in to be hemmed.
I know I will also get a new pair of work boots because I picked them out.

Work boots make a nice outfit when worn alone! Haven't opened a gift yet, so don't know quite yet what I got, other than my own gift to me, Sat Radio for my G!

I'm thinking about doing the same thing ABQ. Which one did you get Sirius or XM. I'm leaning towards Sirius cuz I like Howard Stern and I want to hear how crazy that show is gonna get now that it will not be censored.
As far as gifts, nothing all that special. I have to wait a little bit to get the gift that I really want!
Just a couple DVDs, some small as torx so I can fix some of my knives and an IOU for some computer hardware for an upcoming project of mine. And the best present of all, my grandparents being able to spend the day with us.
I got the greatest gift one can get. My mom (who turns 80 in May) fell on Christmas Eve and split the back of her head open. We didn't know what caused the fall (mini-stroke was our worst fear). She was disoriented and had to go to the hospital. After a battery of tests they determined that nothing was too serious. Later she remembers standing on the couch to water a plant and losing her balance. So 9 staples later she got to come home this morning. Kind of puts things in perspective.
Oh and I got a sweet Sirrius receiver.

I decided to go with XM, was a toss up, not big on Stern, so that didn't sway my decision, now NHL games helped!

ryno, glad to hear your mom is okay! that's so scary
I bought my brother and cousins those Holiday Edition Jones Sodas for Christmas (the National Pack one) kind of as a joke. We are waiting for our dinners to settle and going to try them out. We're scared ...and figure we are going to use the cranberry flavored one as a chaser
*edit: omg... think i'm going to die. the brussell sprout one was so bad that I couldn't keep it down the rest weren't too bad though considering >__<
