I received a new Alarm clock(pretty nice one, actually), a new bed-mattress pad, and a talking Scar-face Action figure(Grandfathers give awesome gifts!! ). My lil brother also gave me the Season 2 Dave Chapelle CD.

Then I went out yesterday on Christmas Eve Day and bought myself about 200 bucks worth of automotive tools to add to my growing collection, and ordered myself a freakin nasty Lincoln Grease gun today.

Tools rule!

Right on! He has a wide range taste in Music! Blues sounds like a great idea too- I might have to change up all of my disks in the CD Player. My dad was Pres of a club he charter founded - The Columbus Blues Alliance so I got to see Albert King in Chicago before he died, lots of good shows...

I don't have vinyl anymore but I have a great memory of jumping down 5 stairs at Polaris Amphitheater and dancing like my heart would burst (6 years ago) when I heard the opening notes of Lucille busting out:

The thrill is gone
The thrill is gone away
The thrill is gone baby
The thrill is gone away
You know you done me wrong
And you'll be sorry someday

The thrill is gone
It's gone away from me
The thrill is gone baby
The thrill is gone away from me
Although I'll still live on
But so lonely I'll be

The thrill is gone
It's gone away for good
Oh, the thrill is gone baby
Baby its gone away for good
Someday I know I'll be over it all
Just like I know a good man should

You know I'm free, free now
I'm free from your spell
I'm free, free now
I'm free from your spell
And now that it's over
All I can do is wish you well

I think I am going to have to put my Jerry Garcia/David Grisman Accoustic version of this song in the CD Player and head up to to Dayton and see some live Jazz.

Anyway...I'm awful glad Ryno your mother is well.

I got the huge ass haul of gifts for xmas just from my dad/his girlfriend and my aunt is still giving me a huge package of Victoria's Secret lotions, etc...when I go to Maryland in Spring to visit.

Not quite that simple but I'm sure it's one of the moves. Should keep me busy for a few as the book is about 3 inches thick.
