Anyone watch this yet?
It is apparently a hit in the UK and Australia (elsewhere internationally).
Here's the blurb and the link.
http://www.nbc.com/Deal_or_No_Deal/ :
"The rules are simple. Choose a briefcase. Then as each round progresses, you must either stay with your original briefcase choice or make a "deal" with the bank to accept its cash offer in exchange for whatever dollar amount is in your chosen case.
Once you decide to accept or decline the bank's offer, the decision is final.
Contestants are encouraged to ask friends or family in the audience for advice; however, only the contestant's answer will be considered binding and final. "

It's a new NBC filler for the off season. I don't give it a snowman's chance, but I have grown quite fond of Mylinda and Yoi (check out the model's link).
It's good to see Howie again. I used to love his standup routines in the 80's.
You're old

:P Not old...experienced I'm early to mid 30's...not too old (optimistic, I know). I just used to listen to Howie when I was in my early to mid teens. Around the time when Eddie Murphy Raw was out. Good stuff!!
One of my favorite Howie stories was when his daughter was born. He said that he had a plan...and wasn't going to pottie train her. Then when she grew up and started dating, she would always be home early. He said that his rule was always that if a chick shit in the car, he's take her right home

Raw was good, but it's all about Delirious!!!!! I thought Delirious was one of the funniest stand ups I've ever seen (from my memory, I can't find it on dvd)
"Gus you didn't marry no Puerto Rican, you married BIGFOOT Gus!!! You know how I know Gus, you know how I know, because when I introduced myself to her she replied back - Gooly Googu! I was like, what the fuck is goolygoogu? I thought I learned some new Spanish and shit Gus. I went to work the next day and I saw my friend Jose and I said, Gooly googu! He turned around and said, Fuck you Motherfucker!!!!"
"And then I took your kids fishin' Gus, I took them fishin and I took the kids on the boat, I gave them fishin' poles and they all looked at me, they looked at the fishin' poles and they threw the poles down Gus, and you know what they did? They dunked their heads in the motherfuckin' water Gus and then came up with fish IN THEIR MOUTHS Gus!!! Fish in their mouths!!! Then they spit out the fish and said, GOOLY GOOOGU!!!! You married BIG Foot motherfucka!!""
god damn, that stuff was hilarious, still gets me rollin' just thinkin about it!
