Remember as well I am done xmas shopping and I cancelled Hawaii so I am basically sitting on 3K, dude.
so why would fedex refund you $183.70 for?

Your family owns all of those businesses...and yet you are strangly unaquainted with the laws of business. I paid for a service, they botched it and didn't deliver as I knew they would...and now as sad as that is...they do not get to keep my money.

Bad news for you Navy the cookies have an exception noted on the tracking online page and I can only assume that means they will be delivered tomorrow by noon. At least the homeade xmas card will still be wonderful...even if the cookies are doomed as Kurt predicted.

I am dialing up Fedex right now to receive my $183.70 refund.
didnt you just mail this out??? and its going to get bad by tomorrow afternoon???

I assume that they may yet deliver the tasty morsels in tact...that would be great! They were made Saturday and Sunday and so getting them Wednesday when he comes home and then taking leftovers to work on Thursday for buddies is still fresh enough to consume but I would have preferred this morning first thing...not tomorrow night. And given their track record now...there is the chance that Kurt could also be correct and they will be crumbs.

The mystery remains until tomorrow...I am glad James that your bet is with the cookies arriving fresh still and mostly in one piece. Kurt is on the other side of that bet. Only I know how they were packed to travel...

Did ya pack em nice and tight? Hardshell container? Who knows, you (or rather NAVY) may be surprised with how they turn out.

Oh, come on you all know me a little bit better by now...James, remember my bathroom towels???

I put each individual cookie into seran wrap and then a zip lock type freezer baggie from which the air was removed so that they would stay fresh. Then I took treat baggies and filled them with air and cushioned each cookie inside the bubble of air. Then I bought hard plastic containers that can be resused (not the throw aways) and placed the little bubbles of air in these. Then the outer box for shipping had the shipping peanuts and fragile stickers.

The cookies would have to have a disaster fall on them in order to be harmed. If that happens then it does...better luck next time, I did all I could. I just think it is funny that Kurt is suggesting I would have shipped cookies across the Continental U.S. from just about tip to tip and not given them a loving tender chance.

Hey everyone knows that when you put the words "FRAGILE" on a package it translates to "Package throwing contest.........best distance and most damage wins."
