Default Infiniti QX the worst car

http://biz.yahoo.com/weekend/worstcar_1.html
Some bozo wrote it. I don't think he works for any magazines.

Well, if the QX is bad, why not the Armada, same vehicle, hmmmm! I read elsewhere that the problems with the QX, were electronic things, not mechanical, think it was at G35Driver.

I checked consumer reports, the '04 and '05 QX really does have the worst ratings in those catagories.

LOL, hard to tell when not a lot of them have been sold, I rarely see one around here, and have only seen one at the dealer here.

I saw this same story on Driver. Somebody mentioned it's the only Nissan vehicle assembled in the US. Can anyone verfiy this?

It is too big for me to even consider a car in its class...but still not a good thing for Infiniti.

I fancy the look of the smaller thingy FX35 - no stick though but I would buy one if I won the lottery and put a 5 speed trans in and then gift it to a friend of mine as a rather unique present.

I don't know but I do know that they have Nissan plants so I don't think that the QX could be the only Nissan made in America.

The story actually reads "only Infiniti vehicle". Besides, this came from Consumer Reports, that is unreliable as hell, I knew someone who wouldn't buy a vehicle unless Consumer Reports said it was good, and every car they ever bought was a POS! We ran Consumer Reports as a feature in the News, and from what I saw, their testing was flawed many times. Just my $.02

I don't know, it's just what I've heard. I'm looking for the answer as well. Iron mentioned something that seems to counterdict this.

I know someone that has one of these giants ... he loves it and hasn't had a problem but then again he rarely uses it ... the thing just guzzles gas.

LC - I have a friend with a black FX35 ... once you drive it for a bit, you forget all about the automatic tranny. The thing is just soo much fun ... I still have to try the FX45

One of my bosses has the FX35 as well. He got it awhile ago with the technology package. The thing behaves so much like a car it's amazing.

It's based on the Z and G FM platform, so the feel of the SUV should be a bit more car-ish.
