Default The phone call every parent dreads...

..."your daughter has been hurt in an accident, we have an ambulance on the way but you need to get here immediately!"

Last night was a very bad night for driving. Ice everywhere. Like many, my daughter fought the ice on the drive home from work. In her case, the ice won. Or, perhaps more accurately, the tree won. Either way, after more than 12 hours of X-Rays, CAT scans, stitches and staples we are back home and I am very, very grateful to have my daughter with us.

dholly, what kind of collison was it, head on or side impact, and what kind of car was she driving? Just curious to see how everything faired out through a specific situation...

My thoughts are with you and your family, dholly. It's definitely a parent's worst nightmare. When I saw the subject line I expected the worst, but thankfully she is okay.

Of course she's alright.
She's a Holly.

If she's anything like her old man, she'll be fine.
