Got a fixit ticket last night.

I was in Los Feliz taking the side streets on my commute home. I was yielding at a signal waiting to make a left turn and I saw an LAPD squad car just kickin' it at the curb on the opposite side of the street. I make my left turn and out comes the squad car and then blares those lights on me.

I already knew why he was pulling me over.

No Front License Plate.

I told him that it doesn't come with the car and you have to go to the dealer to get it. He gave me the "is that so" sort of nod.

As I waited and waited (while they ran a check on me) I noticed several cars, including a porsche drive by with the same criteria - no front license plate.

Fuck'em! I'll pay the $25 ticket, we shall see if they make me change my ways.

That's 3 time this year that I've been pulled over this year. Shit! This has been the first time my front license plate has ever been mentioned though.

SoCal natives are soft when it comes to cold weather. Particularly Latinos, we's tropical people for heaven's sake.

I remember when I went to Boston a couple of years back for Thanksgiving. Damnnnn it was cold. I couldn't believe how life went on and people dressed while I was wearing all the clothes I could get a hold of just to tolerate the 20 degreee temperature.

Staying on topic: Yes, LAPD pulled me over just for the fixit ticket infraction. I wasn't speeding or anything.
