He's going to be PO'd when he sees my post. Tough love baby, he needs to know he's got a great QB in McNabb and needs to quit bitching about Donovan not walking on water every outing.

I think that it is a combo of all of the above. He know's that McNabb is the only choice at QB for the Eagles but at the same time he realizes that without his boy TO, the Eagles are not as good too. It's a tough pill to swallow when you see your team have a lot of success and then to see them slowly start falling apart. I know how it feels. In the early to mid 90's my Cowboys were pretty much unbeatable winning 3 out of 4 SBs. But eventually they started slowly losing all of their players and they no longer were the same team. It happens to every team.
That's because TO wasn't playing...Entirely different offense with TO on the field....

It would be an interesting situation to bring TO back and see how their offense would have done;
1. With TO and no Donovan.
2. With Donovan and no TO.
We've seen #2. There is definitely a let off from having both TO & Donovan to going to situation #2. Unfortunately for msb, he felt that the Eagles would have been better off without Donovan and with one of their backups. He felt that the backups knew the offense better and were better prepared physically to handle the work load than an injured Donovan.
I think he's wrong and last night's game proved it (as far as McNabb being better injured than his healthy backups). Detmer sucks and has always sucked.
Personally if I was McNabb and I've been dissed my entire career despite what I'd done for that team, I'd be outta there when the contract comes up for renewal.

When McNabb was playing injured, he had TO, a healthy O-line, a healthy Defense and favorable weather condidtions. You cannot compare McNabb to the backup QB's performance from last night.
Come on #2. Koy Detmer and Mike McMahon both suck! I'd rather have McNabb at 75% than to have either Detmer or McMahon at 100%. What's wrong with you Eagle's fans?!?!?!?
His play changed dramatically after he got hurt. Did you watch any Eagles game while McNabb was playing hurt, he was no better than either of the Back ups, and he had TO.
Sorry msb, but I need to bring this up.
