When I was in California for each of my 2 vacations the past 2 years(Mostly San Diego, but also Hollywoods/L.A)....
I noticed that they had a ton of good Mexican food restaurants. Plenty of them were open real late too and great for hitting up on the way out of a bar or club... and the late night food was actually pretty good too!
Around here.. there really aren't any mexican food restaurants except for the Taco Bells. We did have a small mexican food place open up the town over from mine.. but it went under in like 3 months and is gone now.

i dont hate on mexicans.. and i dont hate on everything
sorry, but there is nothing good about mexican food... carne asada and fajitas are examples of food that are native THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE central american and south american nations... so it's NOT mexican food. MOST of the mexican foods are just taken from the typical latin american dishes, and twisted around with some kind of disgusting jalapeƱo and chili.
i dont need to head west in order to eat "good mexican food", ive gone to MEXICO, and i've tried all sorts of dishes in guadalajara. ive also been to leon, puebla, yucatan, and DF. it was the same crap everywhere i went.
gamma, please, give me a break. dont ever say cuban food is similar to mexican food... mexicans eat smushed red beans with rice, a piece of beef, and a tortilla... that's a typical mexican dish... cuban's on the other hand, black beans and rice, pork, and sweet plantains... BIG DIFFERENCE.
the most commonly dish for cuban's is lechon asado, not carne asada the most common beef that we eat is bisteak with fried onions on top... which tastes NOTHING like carne asada. mexicans rarely cook pork, but when they do, they eat it in fried chunks. we eat our pork in juicy slow cooked slices.
mexicans cook with tons of spices... TONS TONS TONS... it's horrible... cubans do not use strong seasoning like mexicans... you will NEVER see a jalapeƱo or onion chili in our food. NNEEVVEERRRR...
so dont tell me mexican food is similar to cuban food, please
Alright, who here likes arabic food? Hummus, falafal, schwarma???
Don't they eat C4 and other explosives? Helps them pop better when they hit the trigger button.
