Long ago I once got a photo cop ticket in San Diego. I hired a lawyer to fight it, so I subsequently got traffic school even though that was my second ticket in 6 months.

FYI, currently in L.A. proper, running a red light will not get you a ticket. The city is looking for a different contractor for this system so they pulled the pug on the system. It's been like this for several months now. It shouldn't last much longer.
That sux super. Definitely go to traffic school on one of those if you can. Once you have 2 points/moving violations in Cali, you can kiss your good driver discount goodbye. In other words get ready to take it up the arse with no vaseline.

Exactly. I am also an insurance broker so I see it all of the time. The good driver discount is an awesome thing to have but it sux when you lose it!

i don't have front plates...but they got a real good shot of my rear plates along with my usc license plate frame...these camera's have awesome resolution.

Can you see a CLEAR pic of YOU? I had a friend that did that once.. but he already had a ticket before for the same interesection out here-- this time he put his arm up to block his face... NO CLEAR SHOT..NO TICKET.

the pic of me on the second ticket is not very clear so my buddy is going to represent me in court for that one. and you're right...you can block your face and that will totally work.

I have my plates in my car. If I get pulled over, I will just explain to the officer that I have ordered the brackets and am waiting for them to be mailed to me. Just like you said, if I get a ticket, at least it is only a fix it ticket.
