Performance wise, TO
Playmaker wise, TO
Durability wise, TO
Attitude wise, TO
Physical Attributes, I'll leave that up to MSB.
Just to argue facts...
Performancewise and Playmakerwise..... Not including this year this is how the 2 players match up in Receiving stats(Keep in mind that Owens has been in the league 2 more years than Moss in order to accumulate these stats, so I'm going to compare them in terms of Average per year in each stat category):
Randy Moss
#of Years Played(prior to this year): 7
REC/Year: 82
YDS/Year: 1306
AVG-YRDS/REC: 15.93
TD/Year: 12.86
Terrell Owens
#of Years Played(Prior to this year): 9
REC/Year: 74.3
YDS/Year: 1085.8
AVG-YRDS/REC: 14.61
TD/Year: 10.55
Now in terms of durability:
Randy Moss has played in an average of 15.57 games per year during his NFL career prior to this year and has only missed 3 games during his entire career. All 3 of those games were last year, and every single other season of his other 7 years playing, he played in all 16 games.
Terrell Owens has played an average of 15.0 games per year during his NFL career prior to this year and has missed 9 games during his entire career. He has played in all 16 regular season games in only 1 of the last 6 seasons. His last full 16 game season was 2001. He has played in all 16 games for a season in only 4 out of the 9 years he's been in the league.
Clearly Randy Moss is the better performer statisticly in every single category.
Moss has also been clearly more durable than Owens or at least more willing to play the game despite injury.

Look at Culpeppers numbers with Moss.... and look at them since Moss has left(I know it's only been a short time, but Culpepper was pretty horrible this year).
As Phelan said... Owens did have Steve young for his first 3 of 4 years too.. and he also had Jerry Rice to learn from. Nobody can deny that Steve Young is one of the better all-time QB's.
Even Garcia actually ran a pretty good ship for quite a few years there in Ninerville. He was amonst the NFL leaders in QB Rating and had one of the best TD/INT ratios that we'd seen in a long time back in 2000 and 2001. He wasn't even that bad the next few years either, despite the lack of a solid RB. Of course.. since Garcia and Owens have parted ways, Garcia has gone downhill too. It definitely didn't hurt Owens to play in the West Coast offense too when he was in S.F.

You can say the same for McNabb.

Young was at the end of his career. Moss had Cris Carter to learn from.
Steve Young was still utterly dominant at the end of his career.
It's tough to say with Mcnabb because he has been hurt for a while and that clearly affected his performance.... but it's still difficult for any other QB to do as bad as Culpepper had been this year without Moss. He has like 12 Ints vs 6 TD's. That's horrendous. Culpepper threw more Ints in his first 6 games this year than he did all year last year as well as throwing 1/3 as many TD's as Mcnabb has this year and about 33% more Int's this year.
Sorry about all the stats... I freakin love NFL Stats. Ever since I was a kid, I've basicly been obsessed with the NFL and with NFL player stats and I used to memorize them for some stupid reason when I was younger.
