Default what a great weekend....

Just sitting here thinking about what a great weekend it was: weather was spectacular (low 80's, sunny and dry), got a fun round of golf with Dizz and friends (complete with a nice cigar), got to watch 'SC pull another one out of their asses (Reggie Bush.....'nuff said), met a girl at the bar while watching the game (got a phone #), and saw these fine vehicles while out driving around:

Saw this one at 7am ( ) while on my way to my daughters AYSO girls U10 soccer game (this thing sounded SICK):

Then this one right by LAX on the way to the same game (not sure what spec it was, but right hand drive was kinda cool to see)...

And, finally, this one yesterday on my way home from the grocery store (also sounded very nice):

Overall, a very satisfying weekend

Dude, what uppity place do you live at that you see 3 cars like that.

Just kiddin', I work in the Westside, so seeing a ferrari is not a big deal, but seeing all 3 of those cars on the same day is rare. I have yet to see either the Ford GT or the Carrera GT on the street yet.

Both of them are beautiful cars. Absolutely beautiful. As paraphrased in the LA Times, they both have, "I-see-God-Speed."

Lardoggy, that looks and sounds awesome! I was watching the SC game @ Gotham on the 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica. It was a good mixed crowd with a lot of SC supporters and a good # of haters too. It was an awesome atmosphere too. They have a huge theater sized big screen in there to watch the game on. Our waitress, Erica, was hot as hell too but she actually turned out to be a Bruin. It's all good though because we actually hit it off really well and she ended up buying me and my homie a round of drinks. She couldn't drink with us because she was taking meds for a sprained thumb ligament which was the result of playing volleyball (she's a volleyball player GZ, so you know that she is hot. ). She said that next time she will definitely have a few drinks though. It's always good to get in good with a waitress or bartender at a bar!

Hexxx, it's always good to get in good with any bartender at the bar.

I haven't been to Gotham, but I used to go to Barney's all the time and get hooooked up so that I always stumbled out of there.

Did you lean your seat way back, rev your engine at them, crank your stock stereo system(bass and treble too!) and shoot them an evil hardass stare.... such as what has become trend in the fart-can wielding, teen-boy wanna-be racer community?

Damn gamma, we should hook up some time to watch the games. I go to Barney's all the time. We were actually gonna go to Barney's first but it was packed so we went to Gotham. I watched the Cowboys/Eagles Monday night game at Barney's with a bunch of Cowboys fans and of course a handful of haters. Good times!

I actually saw the Porsche and the Ford right in my home town of Tustin, CA of all places. the Ford was driven by a pretty young looking guy with a backwards baseball cap on. There are quite a few guys that play for the Angels that live nearby and I'm thinking it might have been one of them....didn't get a real good look though.

Hexx....I was watching the game at BJ's brewery, they have a nice big screen too but its not all out Sports Bar...fun nonetheless. There was one bartender (Chinese Puerto Rican mix) who was pretty cute, the others were guys, but the bar had many talented ladies there for sure. At first, I was one of two people rooting for the Trojans and there was a table of about 6 who had their Fresno gear on Eventually, three hot chicks sat down at the bar next to me and USC went on a scoring binge. I personally thanked them for helping out (they were cheering for USC too) and asked if they'd be back for the UCLA game.....one of them says, "oh yeah, but I"m a Bruin fan" whatever..

No, Partyman, I didn't rev on any of em...I was too much in awe to think of doing anything like that....With the Ford, I got in the lane next to him, rolled down my passenger's side window, turned the stereo off and just listened for about a half a mile.....mmmmmmm....

Dizz, glad to know you've got "the gift".......

Oh well nobody's perfect! whatever..
I can't wait for the SC/UCLA game but at the same time I am sad because it is the last regular season game of the year.
