first i asked jaylin... then gammawolf.. but they wussed out

I'm thinking the reason is because it's a 134 meg download!

Jeese.. that's not exactly a small download. I guess it's to be expected though, for a modern game.. given the graphics quality, etc.

Maybe I'll download it sometime later this weekend just to try out my computers 3D capability. I bought this PC like 5 months ago(with great gaming capabilities), and haven't even installed a single game on it besides Diablo 2.

134MB is a small demo, hell the patches for City of Heros were nearly 2GB when I installed a trial of it last week.

I'd play ya smoke except I think Halo sucks :P

I have the xBox Halo 2, but it's actually in a conference room at my office for some lunch time multiplayer gaming.

I have to admit though, I'm not nearly as good as the guys I play against.

I heard it was good....

But I've yet to actually see anything on it except for the multimedia clips that they have online on their site.

I hope they didn't make the cars sound gay... cus I think the car sounds were the best part about NFSU2.

I'd love to rent it first, but I'm sure that it won't be in stock at any rental places for like 3 months.

did you ever play GT4? the cars so unrealistic

it was pathetic for a game that prides themselves on realism.

overall, GT4 was still pretty good...

the whole idea of running from cops is a bit played out... that's why i wouldnt buy it...

best racing game of all time.. IMO, is tokyo extreme racer zero. (rent it)

I have GT4. But after playing the old Gran Turismo soo much, I found this game to be boring and just more of the same. Cars sound like vacuum cleaners, and the new game pisses me off too cus you can't buy cars and mod them up just for testing purposes without saving it to your memory pack. That means you have to use 2 memory packs and constantly switch them back and forth every time you want to test-buy a perspective vehicle(Gay!).

I played GT4 for a total of maybe 3 hours since I've owned it.

I really loved Need For Speed Underground 2. That game is soo much fun, despite the incredibly gay plot and horrendously poor acting... which I completely ignore.

I love taking a crazy modified car and just doing free runs around the town with the volume all the way up... then doing a few donuts in a modified V-8 or juiced up TT Supra or Skyline.

By the way Smoke, I didn't wuss out.

I have a pc at home that I use sparingly. It's bad enough that I stare at a computer all day at work, I don't want to be hooked up to it at home too.

It's also a shame that you don't like Halo 2, this game is so much fun, I'm truly addicted.

THREAD HIGHJACKING ALERT: Has anyone played MotoGP 3? I thought about renting it but I'm a bit over the racing games, ended up getting Ghost Recon 3 instead....but, I'm wondering if the whole Motorcycle racing slant will capture my attention....

???GT4 is the most realistic model out there yet. Keep in mind that the designers are still beholden to the manufacturers from the standpoint that they cannot introduce elements like damage. No manufacturer wants to see their car all beaten up.
