Hexx, I think we all agree that you need to call her. But I can totally understand if you aren't ready to. It sounds like a very difficult situation that you need to be prepared to take on. It already sounds like you are going to have to use alot of restraint. It's even worse that you have somewhat of a time deadline that you're up against.

Dude it ain't about Hex or his ex. It's about his soon to be daugher. Once you involve a child everything else is lower on the priority list. It doesn't really matter about all the details. It's his kid.

Thanks smoke. I understand why Jaylin started this thread and why some people have said some of the things that they have. I think that you know a little bit more than everyone else about my situation but you are also right that everyone DOES NOT know the whole story. There are some details that I have left out and it is these "details" that are another reason why this is so difficult. All I can say is that I AM going to be there for my daughter no matter what. I WILL do whatever I have to to see her and be there for her. Dealing with my ex is a whole other story. At this point, my only concern is my daughter and nothing else. Like I said in msb's thread, I have put out a feeler through a mutual friend of ours and the response was not encouraging at all. Regardless, I will talk to her soon and my daughter WILL be a big part of my life.
