I'm thinking hard about getting a new truck, but I can't decide if I want a Titan, Tundra, Frontier or a Tacoma.
I'm leaning towards the Titan. It rides much nicer than any of the above, very roomy. Only gets 14 mpg though. I also think that it looks the best out of the bunch.
Anyone got any advice?

Some food for thought on each truck(I just recently did a ton of research and bought myself a truck):
Frontiers are geared horribly low... bad for highway driving and don't get that great of fuel economy. The years I was looking at had shallow beds, not sure if the 05/06's have this same issue or not.
If you want a full-size, I hear that the bed of the Titan doesn't have the payload capacity that Ford, Dodge and GMC's have. Lots of power from the engine, but horrible gas milleage.
Tundra's are great trucks but very pricey and don't quite have as much power as many of the other bigger trucks(although they are fast if you get the V-8 equipped one).
Tacomas are also very pricey, but last forever and get good fuel economy. They don't have much power, but are have better ground clearance than most domestic trucks(even better than most full-sized domestic trucks). The V-6 engine is somewhat noisy at higher RPM's, and the 4 cylinder is underpowered and slow. The Tacomas are very adept offroading vehicles with 12 inches of ground clearance and 8.5 at the lowest point between the axels.... while Toyota trucks also have completely sealed front end steering components, requiring no periodic maintenance unless your CV-Boots tear.
From what I've seen... Most domestic trucks(Fords in particular) don't have zerk fittings for lubrication points on the Driveshafts, U-Joints, Double-Cardan Joints, etc... which can result in premature wear and excessive replacement of the joint parts(GMC is excluded from this flaw.. they are equipped with full lubrication points).
Stay away from Dodge trucks, because they don't hold their value and the transmissions are practicly made of glass.... although the engines are strong and last.
I didn't look into the Honda Ridgeline because it was way out of my price range(I was mostly looking at used-truck price ranges).
The Titan/Tundra and Tacoma/Frontier are in 2 totally different classes of trucks. Before you decide on which truck you want, I'd suggest determining what you realisticly need from your truck.
If you want massive towing capacity and a full sized bed... you don't want a Tacoma/Frontier. If you're looking for something to use as an everyday vehicle with good reliability and high resale, then get a Tacoma(I didn't like the Frontier... it looked and felt cheap and didn't have the reliability ratings that the Toyotas had). Keep an eye out for rust if you decide to buy a used Foreign truck, as they are known for rusting out earlier than domestics... but with proper care taken to keep salt off of the truck and yearly undercarraige powerwashing and possibly even spraying, you should be fine.
I ended up going with a 4 Cylinder Tacoma and I absolutely love it. I wish I could have ended up with a 6-Cylinder version of it with an extended cab, but that would have pushed the price up another 5 or 6 grand.. and for what I use it for, it's not necessary.
Let us know how things work out and what you decide on, but I very highly recommend Toyota trucks based on the research that I did over the past 3 or 4 months prior to buying mine and my experience thus far with it.

Dude... I don't know what your preferred use is, or price range, but a powerstroke deisel could be the way to go. The big Ford dealers here have been running 10k off of sticker price. They tow like nothing else, get the same mileage as most V-8s, hold their value, and best of all, there are tons of driveline mods to make it a true Beast

From what I saw... Diesel engines upped the price of a truck by an immense amount.
It would be cool to have a diesel engine though... but it's a huge added expense(at least in the used truck market).

I am still looking. I haven't driven the new Tacoma yet. I drive my dads all the time, but his is an '02. I love the way that the Titan rides though, big fooker is pretty quick too.
