Default So last night I went to a concert...

and saw The Roots at The Warfield. The concert was so good! I finally got to see them perform live and i'm sooooo happy I did. I think I liked their solos better than them performing actual songs though.

About halfway through the concert, my friend who is sitting in the balcony texts me that Dave Chapelle just sat down in front of him. Pretty cool About 10 minutes later, we see some guy walk on the stage and it's him. He stood at the keyboard and started playing something. That boy is skinnnyyyyyy. (he's on the left in the picture)

The rest of the concert was just as good. They are some amazing artists. If/when they come back, i'm definitely going to go again ^___^

At the end of the concert when they were giving away stuff, Dave Chapelle jumped off the stage and crowd surfed for a little while... and then one of the band members (not sure of his name) did it too

gzire: this was post #1234 ^__^

Awsome band huh? I enjoyed the solos more than the songs when I saw them last as well. It really showcases all of the talent they have.

Yeah he does! At first that was all I could see because everyone in front of me was too tall

jl9618: The solos were great... the concert felt way too short

I also thought that the concert seemed a little short, but I guess that it didn't really bug me as I had to work early the next morning.

I just found out about the Roots last summer. That would be a cool concert to see.

Yeah, I expected it to go later than it did. I could have watched them for way longer
