Default SEMA pics.

Spent the day at SEMA and here are the traditional pics.

No groundbreaking mods or technology to report except for some pretty cool adaptable suspension from Tanabe.

Clicky

Hey the the silver G with the Volk TE/LE's......are those chromed or is that a paint job? Also the Tanabe stuff, is that just a heads up or are they actually releasing their stuff? Sorry man I'm out of it as far as parts go, I haven't been keeping up on what's out there.

I think that the Volks were chromed.

The suspension was similar to the Tein flex w/EDFC except the controller that Tanabe is coming out with can be programmed to change dampening at predetermined speeds. It's kinda interesting if you're into road courses.

Wasn't me driving the Lotus, it was towards the end of the day and I didn't have the patience to stand in line.

Yes, the Kumhos actually do make scented tires... I had to see it to believe it. You too can do a jasmine scented burnout.

They also have added yellow and blue smoking tires to their lineup in addition to the red.

Anyone else notice the "General Li" supra? I was rolling on the floor laughing when I saw that.

Interesting news about the Tanabe equipment.

Yup I saw the Supra, but didn't see the "Li" part. Damn man scented rubber for the tires? What are these guys going to think of next?

Yeah, I've tried but timed out a bunch. Looking forward to the pics though, thanks for sharing. If I lived in Vegas I'd be there every year for sure too. Was surprised to hear you say not much new this year, I wonder why? Seems aftermarket sales have never been stronger.

Great pics Rone, I wonder how long the smokin' tires last for?

The smoke stuff is integrated into the outer shell compound so basically it'll last until you chew up all of the tread.

They currently run about $900 per tire because they want to keep them very exclusive. The Kuhmo rep said that they'll be dropping the prices drastically next year though.
