Hahaha...I thought Mary J Blige was coming to town or something!
Interesting publicity campaign. Based purely on personal opinion, I would bet that drunk people are more prone to violence than are those that are high. I wonder if anyone's ever studied this....
Time to visit some of the rally's on the capitol steps like back in the day.
And Lardoggy, I would agree that drunks are more prone to violence than those that are high. Maybe nows a good time to buy some stock in snack foods though :P

I'm pretty sure that drunks are more violent because from my observation the wacky tobaccy makes people lazy and calm and happy; usually. Other than that the only side effect I've seen is paranoia, 'OMG it's the goddamn cops, they know we're high man.' LOL it's so funny to see people paranoid.
Or the other question of how do you get it? Can't cultivate, can't buy it but it can be given to you with nothing of monetary valure exchanged in return.
There is a law that says that Driving Under the Influence is illegal. And rightly so.
Even the law can fine you for being drunk in public (rarely enforced), but can't fine you for being high in public.
Smoking in public may get you in trouble ESPECIALLY if you are within a mile (I forgot the exact distance) of a school. Don't bet stupid around schools.
And if you're slinging, try to avoid keeping your stuff in little baggies.
Now. However this is less glamorous than it appears. It has been legalized by the city and county of Denver not the state of Colorado who charges and prosecutes crimes as well as the Feds. Essentially Denver is saying it's cool while Colorado is not. Almost like having your mom tell you no while your dad tells you yes.
In reality, the police will probably just be a little more lenient than they already are.
I was skiing in Crested Butte one year. After skiing I went to the bar with my friends. There was a girl sitting by the pool tables facing the wall. We found out that she was rolling a joint. She went into the bathroom and a lot of people kept going in and out to smoke...I wonder if the trend will spread.
