my bro came down last night to show me his new toy. he has a g35 coupe and just traded in his rsx type s for towards the lex.
the new design is pretty bad ass, i like it a lot better than the old one. its sportier like the gs series. he got black with gray leather, i wouldve done black on black myself tho.
cool sheeyet:
when you get near the door with the key in your pocket it unlocks automatically.
gauges are really well done, i wish the g had better gauges
cool ass push button start, the keys in your pocket and you just hit the start button without putting a key in.
its fast. he couldnt push it yet, but road and track ran a sub fourteen quarter which means its probably faster than a g.
brighter white lights inside the cabin
18" rims but they look like 19"s.
ride is bumpier than i thought it would be, much like the g35 sedans. trunk space is about the same as the g35 sedan too.
all in all if i had to get a four door i'd lean towards this. dont get me wrong i love my g but dude nissan cut corners when they made it. my dad has a lexus gs430 and the inside is much nicer as is my bros. i think he got his fully loaded for like 38 out the door. my sister in hawaii also picked up an is250 but got gouged for like 39k.

Sub thirteen???? So it is running twelve's???? Are you sure about that? That doesn't sound right to me given it has slightly more horsepower than the G.
I'm pretty sure the 2005 G35 Sedans have the keyless entry/start system and I think I read that the 2006 Coupes have that as well.
Sub 13's sounds very inaccurate for a car with 300 HP, 277 TQ and weighs 3500 Lb's.... particularly since Toyota tends to equip their vehicles with gearing that allows them to get relatively good fuel economy.
I'd say that high low 14's, or high 13's is more probably for this car. It probably is quicker than a G35 though by just a tad, but not by 1.5 seconds in a quarter mile.

I test drove one too, and boy it's really fast.. You can tell it is faster than our cars right away.. just the way the revs build up is amazing..
The paddle shifters are way cool too, and pretty responsive as far as shift time.. They also electrinically rev match when you down shift with a little throttle blip that makes you feel like the best driver in the wrold, even when you're not really doing anything I would still prefer a manual though.. but all in all, much better package than any other car in the price range.. They might have outdone Infiniti..
