Sorry, doesn't happen often in my life but I have basically "fallen apart" here...
I'll gather up all the emails of everyone interested and send out a newsletter...will be brilliant...assuming I can do that still...not sure after witnessing myself this past week.
That's way outside of whale season. Bummer. I've heard good things about Waikiki, but I also hear that it's aweful touristy. Must reconsider everything now.

Preliminary stuff and questions for Kurt before I send the Hawaii Newsletter later this week...
We fly into what airport?
Feb 5th-13th how is the weather? When is the ideal time to visit Hawaii if not when Ohio ice and snow is at its worst? Also should connecting flights be out of Cali with a day in Cali in case connection delay or is that only for international travel?
Do the banana spiders exist and if so can they be kept completely away from everything about me including eyesight?
Is there a volcano?
How many people can stay at your place, Kurt...besides me?
What are you close to as far as big ticket items so we can all get it in mind some of the things we want to do either together or by ourselves? I'll be having sex all by myself so a curtained off section of your house would be preferred.
I have only two places I really must to see b4 I die, Hawaii and Japan. (I used to think Belize or Virgin Islands but that is for honeymoons and lovers) I live alone, I always will, I am not rich. So this would be serious trip for me as you will see from the Newsletter if you are also seriously wanting to hear about or join this trip make sure I have your email address and intention. Of course I want to see Malida, Ty again and meet others and if we can pull off a trip to Hawaii together nothing would make me happier...no one on this short list is in any way "shabby" as far as I am concerned...Malida could have my kidney assuming my father or 1/2 sister didn't ask first. So we will juggle this a bit first and see who wants to see us and Hawaii and how our other commitments of money and time compete with certain dates and paychecks. Malida make a list of all your possible commitments as made to others right now and post it. That is the only way you are going to know what you can and can't afford love, money, timewise. You can bring your girls, you can bring your family, you can bring your coat humping dog. We are down for it.
We fly into what airport?Depends on what island you folks want to stay at.
Oahu is Honolulu International Airport
Big Island is (most likely) Kona International Airport
Maui is Kahului Airport
The main airport is Honolulu International, but there are direct flights to other islands.
Feb 5th-13th how is the weather? It's pretty much the same all year around. Slightly wetter in the winter and the waves are probably near their biggest on the North Shore around this time.
When is the ideal time to visit Hawaii if not when Ohio ice and snow is at its worst? Depends on when the weather is crappiest in Ohio, we don't vary too much.
Also should connecting flights be out of Cali with a day in Cali in case connection delay or is that only for international travel? Depends on your carrier, but I have never personally heard of big problems coming into Honolulu. No snow outs, rain outs, etc.
Do the banana spiders exist and if so can they be kept completely away from everything about me including eyesight? WTF are banana spiders?
Is there a volcano? It's all volcanos baby. If you want the really active one, you need to visit Kilauea on the Big Island (I never have).
How many people can stay at your place, Kurt...besides me? All told after I get the house furnished........2 single beds, 1 pull out sofa, still working on other sofas, but there's a ton of floor space. The limitation is 1.5 baths........only 1 shower (2 toilets though). I dunno 5,6,7 girls or like 25 guys (ladies are too damn high maintenance).
What are you close to as far as big ticket items so we can all get it in mind some of the things we want to do either together or by ourselves? I'd check with a mainlander like super, GTO, ck, guys who've been here. It's all the same to me, nothing really gets me all ramped up.
I'll be having sex all by myself so a curtained off section of your house would be preferred.

I've been to Oahu twice, both times were in February, mostly because the air fare was cheapest on Yahoo then. I believe Feb. is the end of the rainy season. It was absolutely beautiful both times. Once my connecting flight was out of Dallas and the other was out of Seattle.
The North side of the Island is fantastic, few tourists and there is so many things to see that cost absolutely nothing.
I never saw a banana spider though. I did asked my friend who lives in Eva Beach "what would I have to fear most if I went into the woods?" She said "The Rats."
