Once again, dHolly comes through with all the right answers...I'm sure Smoke is fine, but we need to get people's numbers before a storm comes that way we can let everyone know if they're okay or not.
thanx for your concerns, thankfully, all my family and gf's family made it through fine. power has been gone since monday in the dawn hours. theres a lot of destruction around, but everything is fine. thanx for all the love guys.
we were VERY lucky. we didnt put shutters thinking the storm was going to evade miami-dade county. at the last minute, they decided to bring the projected path WAY down south. we decided to head for a hotel, so the only place we found that still had vacancy was a hotel at miami beach.
i got to see a hurricane while at the beach
amazing, purely AMAZING.
we were safe at the hotel, except for a few odd incidents that occured. we came back to the house and much to our surprise, our vehicles didnt have a single scratch on them the house was intact also. not a single broken window.
i am shocked nothing happend to the cars because my house faces where the wind was coming from. but boy, were we lucky. i was sure that the G was going to be crushed by a HUGE tree that's next to my driveway. but everything was fine.
when i get the chance, i will take pics of the destruction around, so you guys could see all the things we had to deal with.
I would have been taking pics like crazy throughout the storm...I never leave home without my camera...
well to me its another storm, but i know rookies would be fascinated.
at the hotel, the idiots left seats outside. one of the seats outside my balcony was dug into the metal railing surrounding the balcony now that was impressive
Black Widow Spider I found on my storm shutters. I couldn't get a good picture of the hourglass because I wasn't f'ing with it too much.
