I've never actually seen this happen, does anyone know if it would really explode?

Princess has a story about this. I don't want to mess up the story so I guess we will have to wait until she can get a chance to post but I do recall the words "explode" and "dead seagulls" being used in her story.

I wonder if she just heard a story or really saw it for herself?

I think that she saw it. It was something that happened in high school.

LOL.... my High School was close to the beach. So there's always Seagulls around. These fockers were smartass seagulls cuz they'll wait up on the roofs during lunch and kinda wait for everyone to open or start eating lunch....

Once food is in full sight...they do their "Drop Bombs" meaning they fly over us and shit. Of course Everyone gets up and run....
And the birds will swoop down and steal our food!!!

So what people started doing was throw Alka-Seltzer on the ground and the stupid birds started eating it... well They didn't "explode" but they pretty much Drop Dead... But their tummy is kinda open... almost as if you shot the tummy part....

It was disgusting...so many seagulls died that the school issued a rule that if you're caught throwing alka-seltzers to the birds..you'd get expell. PETA might of flipped. LOL.

But yah that's first hand account of Alka-Seltzers and birds...they can't FART so that's why their tummy explodes and they die. LOL. Sorry. but it's kinda funny. revenge for stealing our food.

That is wrong in so many ways Princess...but they didn't actually explode...interesting, might have to test this out next time we're at the beach...
