Mini New Orleans Situation

It's a mess up here in the North East. We had rain for almost 9 days straight and there is lots of flooding and other water-related problems... and many cities are in a state of emergency(including this one).

The town immediately next to where I live(I work in this town) is being partially evacuated right now because 2 dams that we have are on the brink of bursting.

They keep telling us to save our work every few minutes, because power might go out at any moment. A ton of my friends and a few ex-girlfriends live downstream from where the dams are, and have been evacuated. There is no danger for us in the location where I am right now, because we are upstream from the dams.

I heard something yesterday that said that this will be the worst hurricane year ever if we get one more hurricane(and supposedly one is brewing right now). Someone mentioned something about having to use a new naming convention for the hurricanes too.. but I'm not sure if that's 100% true of if it was just a joke that some newscaster was saying to be sarcastic.

No, Party you're right...if there are more Hurricanes they will begin to use the Greek Alphabet...Hurricane Alpha, Beta, etc...
