Default Major Problem.........Need Help!

For sometime now I've suspected that my wife may be having an affair. You know the sort of thing. The phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up.

Recently she has started going out 'with the girls' a lot and when I ask which girls it's always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them".

I always used keep an eye out for her taxi coming home but now she always walks up to the apartment, although I can hear a car setting off as if she has just got out of one around the corner.

The other day I picked up her cell, just to see what time it was, and she went mental, screaming at me that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with her. I kind of think deep down I don't really want to know the truth.

But then last night she went out again and I decided that I would check up on her. I hid behind my car which I knew would give me a good view of the whole street so I could see which car she got out of on her return.

It was whilst I crouched behind my car that I noticed rust around my rear wheel well.

Do you think I should take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from Auto Zone and try to repair it myself?

No way man, that's a huge problem. I'd take it to the dealer to see what they say about. If it's the result of rocks scraping the paint the warranty may not cover it, but it's worth a shot.

In any case rust is not to be taken lightly. It can devalue the hell out of your car. Make it priority number one.

OH NO!!!!!

I would always get an estimate from a body shop. They might even let you know themselves if they think it will be easy to do it yourself.

Rust is truly an evil thing...sorry it had to happen to such a nice guy and a nice car!

I'd take it into the body shop to get the rust taken care of.

After that there are impressed current rust preventative systems. What happens is a small sacrificial cathode is used to prevent rust to your car. Slightly different than a sacrifical anode, but accomplishes the same thing.

Hmm am I the only one that's reading the affairs part? The rust is priority number one of course but what about other 90% of the thread he posted. Man that sux man, I'd call the show 'Cheaters' and get her on camera. Well, be a man fookin own up and confront her about it. Fook that, if I'm bringing home the bacon while she's cooking someone else's bacon I'd be chopping heads. Man, why even take that shit? I just don't understand some people. If it was me she'd be out the door with a timberland imprint on her ass. Grrrr cheating bitches piss me off.

Hahahaha.

Soo easily distracted by his true love(car).

I wouldn't try any of that cheap auto-zone/pep-boyz shit on a practicly brand new G35.... it will only make the problem much more visible.

Better get it professionally done. You might want to try bringing it to an Infiniti dealer first to see if you can get them to use the corrosion warranty to fix it. Chances are that they won't do it, and will say that the rust is caused by a rock hitting the car and chipping away paint... leaving the metal exposed... not their fault. But it's worth a shot and can't hurt.

If the rust started from inside the panel or as a result of shoddy workmanship in the factory paint, the warranty should cover it.

So... do you really suspect your wife might be cheating on you... or was that just a cleverly concocted story to lead into your rust problem?

That was really good. I think I may have offended some people in my office by saying "What the Fook!" outloud when I got to the end. I thought I was going crazy when no one responded about the affair until Iron said something.

Good one. I like this guy.

I don't know about you man. Are you sure you grew up in the mean streets of Jersey? I am sure even Babyface Ru wasn't going for the affair bit. Between this and the PETA thing I am about ready to sell you some real estate. :P
