I been tryin to quit for the past 3 yrs. I can go through the entire week without a cig, but once the weekend and the drinking starts, its all over. I would try the niccorette gums, but its so damn expensive.

My problem is also when I'm drinking or out with my friends...I rarely smoke when I'm by myself...now if I can just get them to quit also we wouldn't have a problem...

some people have mild gum irritation to the whitening gel....if that's the case, position the strip edge away from gum tissue. no biggie.

Hmmmm, I can't tell any difference yet, but then again it's only been 4 days. It's supposed to be a 21 day program so hopefully by next week I'll see some progess. I think it's working though, my mouth is hurting.

I've never experienced any discomfort with the whitestrips Iron, are you sure you are using the top ones for the top and the bottom ones for the bottom?

the sensitivity affects some people but it is only temporary...it usually goes away within 24-48 hours after the last whitening session.

Anything that people can take/eat to cut down on sensitivity?

Not to scare anyone with these white strip things but I've been told that long use of these strips cause cancer which I guess it kind of make sense since. Not sure if that is 100% true but that's what I've heard from several people. I asked 2 dentists about the strips and they both said that it is bad for the enamel and that I should just continue what I'm doing and just get it cleaned by a dentist every 6 months like i've been doing.

you can rinse with fluoride(ACT) 2x daily or after you brush...but even if you don't do anything, the sensitivity will go away on it's own.
