I really like the change of color. I really like how I can wear my fall lineup for this season. Most of all I really like how our cars perform alot better than the humid summer days. Today was about 49 degrees outside and I was in first gear about to pass a semi, so I depress the throttle and zoom-zoom (damn mazda commercials) off I go. I feel like I got that Turbonator install in my car. Really feels nice to get all that power back from the cold air.
I agree about the acceleration. Our G35's feel (relatively speaking) a lot slower in the warm than they do in the cold in comparison to previous cars I've owned.
But other than that... I still don't like fall due to the fact that it's always very rain, cold and super windy.
We just ended a string of 9 days of straight rain. It's flooded all over the place out here and there's trees down everywhere too due to yesterdays 60-70 MPH winds.

i love when it starts to get cold.. but mostly the anticipation of winter (and hopefully snow) to come.
for soem reason i find cold or precipitation comforting.. cause it feels nice to be inside. and i like to be outside in the elements.

I hate being forced to be inside. You can be inside all summer if you really want to... but at least you have the option of going outside and relaxing in the sun for however long you feel necessary. Stay outside for more than an hour or 2 in winter and there's a good chance you might end up dead here in New England.

Snow sucks. The cold sucks. I hate it. I will take the 9 months of rain we get up here if it means avoiding even one day of snow. The cool temperatures of fall are fine, but I hate snow and cold cold.

It looks like most of the people who responded to this thread and actually like fall are from warm climate areas where the fall temps are in the 50's/60's at night and 70's/80's during the day.... except for Iron and MSB.
Another annoyance of fall is the fact that it gets dark really early now. Less daylight = less time for outdoor fun. I always have a hard time squeaking in time to work on my cars when fall/winter are here. Mainly weekends are the only time to work on them... and weekends are usually busy with other life events.
I'm probably better than about 98% of the people in this area in dealing with the cold(i tend to always feel hot), and don't usually wear a jacket or even a fleece until November.... plus I run in shorts and a T-shirt in any weather above 28 degrees. But I still despise the fact that it gets cold here... because no matter how well I might be with dealing with the cold, it's still a miserable time of year in comparison to summer/spring.
Only good things are that there are almost no bugs out now, and I can run as hard as I want for as long as I want without getting too hot or having to deal with excessive humidity.
