Captain Fun's. I think it was probably a strip club a while back because they've also got a cage-like area.

I like Seville Quarter better but it's like a tuna can in there.

I had to stay home to get a few resumes and emails out and a few friends called me on the phone. Not bad though to have a little down time...I actually love to have a Friday Night all to myself. It is fall...can ride in the G or take a hot bubble bath and play with my puppies.

So these 300 pounders...were they like strippers? I don't think I would like that...nobody better take me anywhere like that in Vegas.

haha, no. not strippers. i wouldn't have stayed around. just people dancing on the pole.

This is my night in. Watching the FSU game, and getting disappointed.

smoke - no not really...
i mean i know what your saying (and that's why i made the decision at that time...)
but after going to my ex's school all the time - that was my only college experiece (since i practically lived there on weekends) i definately missed out. i won't have those "college friends" "college experience" "college stories" "college girls" etc.
i missed out man - no doubt about it.
$$ maybe but that is still a bad excuse to miss out on that experience. IMO it may be worth the $$ for the experience alone... and oo yeah - THE DEGREE hahahaha

i missed out dude.

You're close, Captain Fun's was never a strip club, but it was where all the strippers went to party. At least that was true when I lived in P'cola.

I have been drunk at Syphillis Quarter, I mean Seville Quarter soooooooo many times. If you haven't noticed any time you were there, a lot of Navy guys go there, especially flight students. I also went to Coconuts by the Mall, the FloraBama, the Reef, Flounders, and a few other places. But Seville was a standard place to go. Did the 'Bama ever recover from the hurricane or is it gone forever?

hahaha. i hadn't noticed a lot of navy guys. i've only been once, which was recently and on a thursday night. Have yet to vist most of the other places you mentioned except Flounders. On Friday nights around midnight a few friends and I liked to hang out on the dock that's behind Flounders for a few hours. Nice thing about Flounder's is we could get cokes for free since they think we are DD's and the fact is that none of us are 21 yet.

I'll check the 'Bama and see if it's still around. I think most places are doing just fine now.

The Florabama is out on Perdido Key. It is the wierdest collection of rednecks, miltary, and college students you'll ever see. It got hit pretty hard by the hurricanes last year. Have you found Shane's yet? The tiny little bar on Olive Rd?

I feel the same way. I should have listened to my dad when he said I should go away to college for the experience but no... it's okay. I still had fun anyways

i know what you're saying, but you shouldnt dwell over it.

yeah, you didnt have those "college experiences", but who knows. maybe you saved yourself a lot of grief at the same time

everything happens for a reason, you gotta learn to take things how they come.

i'm not negative.. i just regret it.
i can regret if i want to... i hate when people say not to.

i'd like to figure out a way to goto school for meteorology... i finally figured out that's what i like. i'm just trying to figure out if there is a practical way to start my education from scratch at this age. (25 in Feb)

Starting out $80k+ in the hole to go away for college was not an option for me. As much as I'd wanted to there was no way I'd saddle myself or my parents with that financial burden.

We all support your ambition to go back to school and become a weather girl msb.
