We were taught in my class to make everything seem nice.. like a protester who is blocking an entrance.. if they are sitting down you put the end of the closed asp under and behind their ear.. you can't see wtf the officer is doing and DAMN it hurts (can you tell they do EVERYTHING to us)

But hey, could have been worse.. you know if a large male tried to punch me in the face, I could shoot him and be justified (if I became an officer) since his one punch could and would knock me out.. it's leathel force.. not saying i'd shoot a guy like that.. I'd tase him and giggle though.. if.. I ever get to be an officer

I know how you feel though homie! I've gotten the "you fit the description" rap before by cops when I've gotten pulled over. Eventually they let me go after they harass me a little bit because they have the wrong guy.

I don't believe all cops are bad, just like I don't believe all people are bad. Are all black people bad becuase of the high black on black crime? Are all Latinos bad because of La Vida Loca and high drop out rates? Are all Caucasians bad because the are the majority of people on welfare?

No. Generalizations, that's all. Don't believe all the hype. I'm sure you people know better.

That said, I used to have an uncle was was a detective. He was cool . . . took us to the lake on his boat, great cook, great sense of humor, took care of his wife, step-son, and family. He was an LAPD detective and he had this theory (no joke) that, you know that movie Planet of the Apes, well his theory was that particular movie was based on black people taking over society. He felt society was in danger "because Ni%$#ers were going to take over the world."

I was about 13 when I used to hear such theories. I thought it was bologna, and didn't give it much thought. Until many years later, when the OJ simpson trial came about and this guy named Mark Fuhrman took the stand. That wasn't my uncle, my uncle was a Latino, but certain sentiments were absolutely shared.

I'm sure cops put their lives on the line for us all the time with no gratitude from their community. I'm sure that most of them are good at heart, but I know for a fact that the street will change your idealism and they too are human. Hence, I don't trust any of them nor will I ever for my own protection.
