Default Hungry!

This hungry critter was found in New Orleans swimming down the street.
21 FT long, 4,500 lbs, around 80 years old minimum.

Specialists said that he was looking to eat humans because he was too
old to catch animals. The army killed this gator last Sunday
at 3:00 pm, currently he is in the freezer at the Azur hotel. The
contents of it's stomach will be analyzed this Friday at 2:30pm.

If I remember correctly, gators typically live in fresh water and crocs prefer to live in salt (or brackish) water. The snout on a croc is generally narrower than a gator and crocs are meaner. I'm sure that there are more differences, but that's all that I can remember from working at Busch Gardens back in college.

I heard something about some dolphins that had to be rescued:

http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N15731431.htm

Seems like there are a lot of urban myths flying around NO, turns out a lot of the stories we heard (babies being raped, multiple murders in the superdome, shots being fired at rescue workers) are now believed to by inaccurate and have become urban legends.
