Default DMB winter tour

i know 90% of you could care less... but as a loyal fan, i have to post these winter dates (cause i'm very excited)

on a side note... DMB has toured EVERY YEAR since 1992. what other band does that? they toured from June thru September, are taking 2 months off (with 2 shows - Dave only) and are back on the road on November. Back in the studio in the end of winter... back on the road end of spring beginning summer.

total tours: 50
total shows: 1,503 (full band)

goes to show, why they are a "live band" if you have only heard/listened to their studio material, you are missing EVERYTHING.

DMB 2005 WINTER TOUR

Sat / Nov 26 / Target Center / Minneapolis, MN
Sun / Nov 27 / Qwest Center / Omaha, NE
Tue / Nov 29 / Kohl Center / Madison, WI
Wed / Nov 30 / Unv. of IL Ass. Hall / Champaign, IL
Sat / Dec 03 / Joe Louis Arena / Detroit, MI
Sun / Dec 04 / Air Canada Centre / Toronto, ONT
Tue / Dec 06 / Bryce Jordan Center / State College, PA
Wed / Dec 07 / Blue Cross Arena / Rochester, NY
Fri / Dec 09 / Madison Square Garden / New York, NY
Sat / Dec 10 / Madison Square Garden / New York, NY

Mon / Dec 12 / Verizon Wireless Arena / Manchester, NH
Tue / Dec 13 / Wachovia Center / Philadelphia, PA
Thu / Dec 15 / Fleet Center / Boston, MA

more are being announced soon. probably for down south and maybe out west. i'm going to the ones in bold and maybe state college.

i can understand why amny are turned off by DMB... but people that understand music that hate their music even admit that they are extremely talented. (espacially the drummer - Carter Beauford)

well DMB isn't "alternative"
it's hard to say what they really are...
they are mostly jazz/classical muscians.
what other bands blend guitar, drums, sax, violin, bass, and keys into one? succesfully? not really alternative.

the only gripe i have with "rap" is there is usually (but not always) a huge gap in talent and originality.

but anyway... i'd like to see how many drummers can "play" this:

definately! they are all "up there" can't really say one is better than the other - all different styles and bring different things to the table.
