Smoke, I'm a bit surprised to see you supporting my Trojans considering they just broke the record for most consecutive weeks at #1 in the Polls (formerly held by UMiami). But, I'll take it, unless of course sarcasm is the sole purpose of this thread

Lardoggy-Unfortunately our lil smoker buddy is trying to jinx our mighty Trojans. So far this year when someone has posted a poll for a game in which their favorite team is playing in, that team has lost (i.e msb-Eagles lost to Falcons, gamma-Raiders lost to Patriots and my Cowboys losing last night to the Redskins). So unfortunately, it is not sincere support for our team. It's not like we need it!
No I just don't care about USC. It was very disenchanting when they can a coach (John Robinson) with a good W-L record and fantastic graduation rate. Sure USC dominates now, but they've sold their souls and any rep they have for being a college for learning.

you mean it actually was a good learning institution?

Translation=I'm still bitter because my Rainbow Warriors got bitch slapped by USC!

Again John Robinson was a quality coach who had the highest graduation rate at USC for some time. He then gets fired. Supposedly he wasn't up to the Trojan's winning standards. Since he graduated a ton of guys it is obvious to me that USC would rather have a good football team than graduating students.
If all the other schools in the country are willing to say no to school and yes to athletics (basically a professional athlete), USC and all the other schools that do this would suddenly find that the competition is much more difficult.
Take Notre Dame for example. They have never waived their academic requirements despite the fall from sporting grace. That earns my respect.
If people don't see this, then they need to withdraw their heads from between their buttocks.

You are using Notre Dame as an example of a school that has NEVER waived their academic requirements? Do me a favor, go read a book called Under the Tarnished Dome and then come back and repost the exact same thing that you said above. Notre Dame?
