It's down to the final week for Rock Star INXS. Have any of you been watching the show? I really like it. The contestants are all really good and they don't whine like the pansies that are in American Idol. I don't like INXS, but the show is quite good.

i've been watching it

I didn't watch tonight's yet because I got home too late but it's on Tivo. I'm sad Jordis is gone but the week she got kicked off she wasn't as good as she usually was

Yeah, she started the season strong, but couldn't hang with everyone when they started improving. I won't elaborate much until you watch your show on Tivo.

I watched a guy last week get away with wearing a "Go Fuck Yourself" shirt. Other than that I haven't followed it that closely.

I've heard this was good, but the one episode that i saw, the contestants seemed to suck royally. I also think it's sad and lame that a band that once had a lot of popularity is resorting to a TV show to find their new lead singer.

I think it is pure marketing genius. Nobody really gave a shit about INXS for 10 years or so...now, they have created a buzz in the music industry will likely do very well with a previously unknown singer. Brilliant!!

Will they sell more records? Probably. Will it be any better or will they be able to re-capture their popularity? Probably not. Just my cynical view.

I would be cynical too if the American Idol winners didn't do well. This show isn't as popular, but the amount of popularity it has seen in addition to the former popularity of INXS make it an interesting combination. It will be interesting to see what happens.

JD bugs me. I like Marty but I think he wouldn't fit in as well with INXS

Yeah, JD gives me the willies. There's a screw loose somewhere. I think that he'd cause disharmony in the band. Marty looks too much like David Bowie back in the day. He's very talented and would do a good job, but I just like Mig better.

Still like Mig the best though <3
