They are holding this event in Englishtown, NJ on November 5-6 and I thought that it would be cool to get a bunch of us together to participate. I signed up for November 5 at 12:30 PM. Let me know if you guys can go and what time (I can be flexible in what time I participate).
if i became incredibly wealthy -- i'd find MUCH better things to buy than an RX8
lol,
examples??
oo come on.. like any "dream car" or good car.
anyone could name 50 cars theyd prefer if money was not an object.
i dont like mercedes, i dont like bmw, and i dont really like porsche either. i might buy an italian car, but it will probably overheat and die here in miami so i have to stick to the japs
I don't like German cars...I'm all about Italian. I will own a Ferrari before I die, I don't care if it's a 328 GTS.
i love the 550 maranello.
Oh yeah, I tried to get one to race me with my Z28 when I lived in Ft. Lauderdale. I guess it wasn't worth him wasting his gas

oh by the way guys, all your talk about philly cheesesteaks made me go out and eat the steak at dennys. yuuummmmmm
Blah. I need to make some homemade cuban sandwiches again soon. It's not as good as the real thing because the pork is from lunchmeat, but it works in a pinch (especially with a little cumin on it). Most of the cuban places in Philly are snooty joints where you spend $9 for a dinky-ass cuban sandwich that isn't very good anyway. I miss the places in Florida where you get a big, awesome cubano for ~$4. There is only one restaurant in Philly with authentic cubanos and it's in a rough section, so we can only go there during the day (and without the G...).

i know how to make some delicious cuban sandwiches, i have the flatner iron thing (i dunno what its called in english, always call it by its spanish term). $9 for a cuban sandwich!?!?!? DAMN! yeah here they're pretty cheap, and really good. there are also other sandwiches which i suggest you try next time (if you havent already). there's "pan con bistec", which is bisteak inside of cuban bread with lettuce, tomato, and tiny crispy fries. theres also "media noche", which is similar to the cuban sandwich, except with a different mix of ingredients.
do you only eat the sandwiches? or do you eat actual cuisine too? if you do, i recommend "bistec de pollo" which is boneless chicken breast, and they put strings of fried onions on top. its really good
oh, do you like coffee? if you do, make sure to have a shot of expresso cuban coffee for your buddy smoke or "cafe con leche", which is a blend of expresso coffee with milk, really good too.
(hopefully this'll have the same effect on you that it did on me w/ the philly cheesteak )
