Week 1 Suprises:

Miami beating the crap out of Denver. I heard somewhere that Denver is 0-7 at Miami??

New Orleans Saints. This seemed like a good game from the highlights. And from the few highlights I've seen, Carolina looks awfully good. But so does Duece McAllister. He's baaddd.

Either The Vikings either suck without Randy Moss or Tampa Bay just looks that good, or both, but 27 points??? Doesn't Tampa Bay typically score lilke 14 to win games?

San Fransico beating St. Louis. This was off my radar, I coulda cared less, but I was surprised nonetheless.

I think the biggest competition the Raiders will have to face in the AFC west is the Chiefs. Fucking A they looked good. That dual running back tandem is Lethal. And it seems that they really did improve on defense. Should be a good game to watch: Kansas City at Oakland, Next Sunday 09/18/05. Expect the penalty flag to get really dirty.

Well I think that it is too soon to say this but my Boys did look pretty good against the Bolts. Aside from the first 10 minutes of the game, they clicked on all cylinders on offense and defense. I would hardly say that Washington was impressive squeeking out a win against Da Bears. The Giants looked good but it was against the Cards. We all know that Philly is gonna be one of the top teams in the league regardless if they win or lose tonight. I just hope that the Cowboys at least contend for a wild card if not the division.

Cowboys gotta beef'n up their D before they can contend for the Division, Eagles look like they'll continue to dominate for at least another year or 2. Skins will still be on the bottom of the barrel until Dan Synder buys the entire Pro Bowl team and Joe Gibbs retire. Giants, I dont see Eli becoming like Payton any time soon.

I don't think that the Cowboys are a threat to Philly yet. They still have a lot of work to do but I definitely like the direction that they are going in. Like I said, hopefully they can at least contend for a wild card spot! Dang, where did this Patrick Crayton kid come from!?!? He went from being a special teams player to a major contributor! And Peerless Price didn't even suit up. I really like our WR corps. Having A-Train back up Julius Jones isn't too bad either. If Bledsoe can stay consistent and the young D keeps developing, they will definitely be in that wild card hunt!

How about the Colts over the Ravens....? Peyton Manning looked awesome against one of the top 2/3 defenses in the NFL. If the Colt defense is for real (hard to know, it was just the Ravens), these guys will pose a real threat to the Pats.

its all about matchups, i think the colts offense goes against what the ravens do best on defense (stopping the run).

we go through this every year is the colts D for real?!?!

but they always let everyone down.

Obviously I am looking forward to the Chefs visiting Oaktown. It's always fun playing an old school division rival at home.

All bias aside, it should be a shootout!

I would be curious to see the NE at Carolina & San Diego at Denver. I don't expect high scoring games for either, but SD and Denver are in the AFC West so I have to keep an eye on that, and that former SB matchup was such a good game, I'd like to see Carolina win.

Hey everyone Charger fan here, make way, coming through...

I was at the game last sunday (season ticket holder, not a bandwagoner) and yeah there was a few "Boys" fans...what DO you expect from a diverse city as San Diego? Do you expect the ALL of the military families from all over the USA to convert into San Diego fans because they live here? C'mon now lets be reasonable. Bottom line the "Q" had waay more Charger fans...if only you guys could hear the roar of the crowd.

Anyway, it was a good game, much props to the Cowgirls they played a good game...and as always GO CHARGERS!

Man was I spewing hate at the Dolts down the street at Trophy's. It's a tie which team I hate more: the Dolts or the Donkeys.

I look forward to our matchups this season. Good luck to you.

Cowgirls huh? That's funny, it's all good as long as you remember that your Dolts got beat by those Cowgirls. Gamma, I have a feeling that I am gonna be rooting for the Raiders when you guys play the Dolts!

I appreciate that Hexx, but you do realize the Cowboys come to Oakland on October 2nd.

Since you are not in our conference and the record between us is to short to guage, I expect a good game and trash talking to fly as the date approaches. Should be an interesting matchup. The Cowboys are well coached.
