texans made a good choice....they already have a good rb...too bad they couldnt trade down and draft either williams or ferguson....
Are you smoking crack #2?!?!?! The Texans are MORONS!!!!! Mario Williams is an awesome player but unless he has 15 sacks a year there is no way that he will have the impact that Reggie Bush will. The Saints all of a sudden look really good. Dree Brees and now Reggie Bush to go along with Duece and Horn. The Texans will end up regretting this draft . . . . guaranteed.
there are tons of defensive ends in the nfl that are good as heck. reggie bush brought a new element to the running back position that previously could only be compared to marshall faulk.
^^^^Exactly my point smoke!!! Reggie Bush has a chance to score everytime he touches the ball. He singlehandedly took over games for SC. Mario Williams is a good player but he will not be able to have the impact on a game the way RB will. Think about it. Bush will touch the ball 20-25 times a game. Mario williams may make a play 4-5 times a game. The Texans will regret not taking Reggie when they see him running wild in NO.
The Raiders didn't want another QB, I told you all, they're grooming Andrew Walter to take the helm later on.
I really think they wanted Reggie Bush and tried to trade up for him to no avail. AJ Hawk would of been nice, but GB got him. Michael Huff, SS from Texas is athtletic, fast, and a playmaker but gambles too much on the interception return rather than the tackle. I hope he develops as a tackler. Am I pleased with the decision? I'm okay with it. I'm not thrilled with our current safeties: Schweigert and Gibson. In fact, Gibson flat out sucks and I wonder what the hell he's doing on a Raider roster, so if this new guy can replace the fledgling Gibson, by all means it's an improvement.
Surprised with Denvers picks so far- sorta. We had needs at wide reciever, running back, safety and apparently QB. We got Walker from GB which I think is a smart move from an immediate impact perspective. Didn't see the trade up to get Cutler though. I guess Plummers days might be numbered. Smart move from the perspective that some think he's the best QB in the draft and we have plenty of time to get him used to nfl offenses and defenses. Denver always seems to churn out 1000+ yard rushers from the mid rounds of the draft so I'm not worried about that. Ferguson and Lynch are fine at Safety for now but are getting up there in age (32 35). Still wish we would have picked up a young reciever but some say this draft was weak on reciever talent compared to some years. I dunno, should be interesting.
