I paid $4.05 at Costco for premium recently for a full tank of gas. Came out to $60 approximately. I told the wife that and she said that we should drive her Toyota Sequoia more often because mine was so expensive. I tried to reason with her that even though my G required premium gas, it was still better on gas than hers. She didn't believe it. The next day, her gas tank was on E and I refueled it at Costco with 87 octane. 22 gallons later the bill came to $80. I showed it to her and said, "now who's car do you think we should drive?"

SO Gamma, do you realize that you actually are setting yourself up to be driving the Sequoia, while SHE drives the G !!!????
^^ a G and a sequoia? you guys need to get something more efficient...
No shit. She's looking to sell her SUV. I've always hated that thing, but she wanted it. Now she wants a Pontiac Solstice Jeeez, there's no practicality with her when it comes to cars.

Fuck that! Besides, she works less than 5 minutes away from our condo. I take her to work and bring her back. Sometimes she walks. We really don't spend that much on gas because she hardly ever uses her Sequoia. She uses it, maybe twice a week and solely on the weekends. She also hates driving and I still love driving my G.
Just past Brentwood today and saw $4.65 for super.
that's Brentwood/West LA/West Hollywood for you. It's hard to find cheap gas out there. The only place that's worse is the San Francisco area. I bet they're closer to $5 already.
