That just doesn't look real. I'd love to see those in real life.

We had them on a very scary day here in Dublin, Ohio...we had a wall cloud that day, we had a little touch down on a busy street of some kind of funnel...sirens were going off in the distant west...they were so beautiful...but I was fleeing for my life in a beat up old beemer at the time...

Easy to get me worked up when all I did all day long back then was watch weather channel tornado porn...I got hooked on it for like a year straight.

Yea we get some crazy ones called Lenticular clouds over Mt. Rainier, because it is a volcano off by itself, and has permanent glaciers, on hot, humid, clear days it's so high and cold, it makes clouds form just around it. These have odd circular shapes, and float above the summit by several hundred feet.

http://www.crystalinks.com/lenticular.html

You can see in some of these shots why people might have reported them as flying saucers

Those clouds are amazing...but I don't think I would be taking pictures of them...more like trying to find a girl to screw before the world ended.
