1. Saying "I love you" immediately before, during, or following sex doesn't count.
2. Real men drive stick shift.
3. I will leave if you lie.
4. You are cute in raglan-sleeved T-shirts (two-toned baseball undershirts).
5. I'm convinced I'm pregnant and obsess about it for a minimum of 24 to 48 hours before my period, even when I have no rational reason to think so...............
Hey I'm not flaming on the AT driver I'm just posting this in case people ask about driving stick. :P
I usually find these lists to be stupid, but there is a lot of validity. Driving sticks is one obvious one and #49 is all too true- "I remember everything about our relationship" .
I love driving manual transmissioned vehicles. Always have, and always will.... and all my cars will be a manual, forever.
But for the mere fact that they put that requirement as #2 on their list completely voids any validity of the article. Driving a standard doesn't mean a thing as far as masculinity. I'm sure that many of the most successful/masculine men in the world drive automatic transmissioned vehicles.
As a matter of fact... most women that I know prefer to ride as a passenger in an automatic because it's a smoother ride. Driving a manual transmission also makes it almost impossible to get road head, because the shifter and your shifting motion gets in the way.

Hmmm... a direct challenge upon my manhood. OK, this will be my one and only comment on the subject.
If you want to run with me at the strip, bring it. If you want to run with me at the track, bring it. We'll see who's got the bigger stick.
I know this came up recently in another thread. I'm very sure that an auto can hang with a manual in racing situations. But, there's something much more rewarding TO ME about using your limbs the way you need to drive a stick effectively. Standing on the gas pedal can get you somewhere fast, but doing so in concert with your left foot and right arm....now that can take some skill and makes it more fun (again FOR ME).

I love stick! I like riding even, who cares if not every moment is smooth.
But one thing you would not want to be getting head from me while driving...I am so good you might pass out (ask Navy - but he won't answer), you will certainly wreck the car...sadly the danger, out in public factor is just not worth it...with an average girl and an automatic (sorry Rone) what is the point of either?
As far as a manual transmission helping us men to get women(Cover your ears... here come my jokingly sexist remarks).....
The only good things about owning a manual transmissioned vehicle with the women is that the exta thought involved in clutching/shifting gives me(the driver) a minor distraction from the constant rambling banter that spews from the mouth of the historicly-annoying girl sitting in my passengers seat(I've dated a few really dumb women).... while also preventing the woman from ever driving my car, provided that she doesn't already know how to drive a standard(A hidden security feature!).
I have, however, found owning a standard to be an opportunistic little experience... because it provides with a great situation to teach your date/girlfriend how to drive it(I've never dated a girl who already knew how to drive stick before I tought them). Of course, I would never let anyone(guy/girl/beast) learn how to drive standard on my G35.... that's what beaters are for.
