... and, for some crazy reason of macho man pride, I decided to DIY. Bad move; it's been a long while since I tackled something like this and I sure ain't gettin' any younger! Mercifully, I'm finally wrapping up on Phase One. Phase Two is insulation and drywall. If you have nothing better to do, grab a cold one and check out the construction pics from groundbreaking to now over HERE. Every once in a while you can see the G in the background patiently waiting to slip into her new digs.

Yeah, motivated by lack of $cratch mostly I think... my lifestyle and them wives and kids are getting damn expensive.
Not much garage progress due to the AirVenture trip last week, and now I am jumping back in the floatplane tomorrow a.m. for a 4-day jaunt into No. Quebec for some quality wilderness walleye and pike fishing up near James Bay. I may work hard, but I play hard too, just doing what I gotta do to juggle all the balls.
Nice, do you have any professional construction under your belt? How long did it take you to do that? Anyways, there seems to be alot of NAScar fans on that forum :P
iron - nah, just plenty of DIY experience over the years... want it done, can't afford to buy/hire it, so do it yerself. That took about 5 weeks of nights and weekends in my 'spare' time. And, lol, I figured I'd get some comment about the other site, but was expecting it to be about the tractor nuts not nascar nuts. Hadn't really noticed that. I found that site when researching my tractor purchase but have stuck around for the great info. Good site, but those tractor nuts are crazier than G nuts by a country mile. Pun intended!
